I love these, Julie.

Your friend was so totally right. As artists, it's easy to totally get caught up with how your peers are doing and for it to put a ton of unnecessary pressure on you... at least, that's how it feels for me.

Oooooo thanks Scott! It's so true. Everyone goes at their own pace. Some people started out in art school at a higher level because they had more chances to learn before school, or more exposure to good drawing classes or influnences. Back then it was frustrating to me because I had to realize I was starting at a different place. That's basically what I'm saying here, too, that you can only compare yourself to your own progress. If you are trying your best, that's all you can do.
But you're an awesome artist, Scott! AND a good friend, too. :)
