"Fall" work in progress, Part 3



I used acrylics to do a rough underpainting. I tried not to get too crazy with this; it's meant only to be a little color underneath the oil paint so that bits and pieces of it show through. I brushed in warm tones of raw sienna and burnt sienna on top of a thin base layer of unbleached titanium.

thank you for stopping by my blog.

I am actually painting on BFK Rives paper...I gesso it first, let it dry, transfer the drawing, use fixative to seal the transferred drawing and then paint with oil. Hopwe that helps..
There is no such thing as messing up. If you learn while you go then its a success
